Wide-band phase-shift network technique using field-effect transistors

A phase shift network using FET is proposed. The phase shift can be got from virtually 0° to 180° and remains constant over a wide band of frequencies. The output can be either digital or analogue (sinusoidal) with constant magnitude Results arc given for a practical circuit operating over a decade of frequencies and a phase error within ± 1°. A complete analysis is given, indicating that the bandwidth can be increased by an order of magnitude and the phase error reduced almost indefinitely.
