Maligne Lymphome in der Urologie

Malignant Lymphomas in Urology. Even though the first manifestation of lymphomas is within the genitourinary system in 15 % of the cases, the diagnosis of this disease is often delayed. An analysis of our patient records from 2001 to 2010 of patients with malignant lymphomas in the genitourinary tract was performed. Six patients were found and are reported. A review of the Medline search for malignant lymphomas in urology was performed and the cases are discussed in the light of the literature. Because of the multimodal treatment approach a multidisciplinary care of the patients should be the standard. J Urol Urogynakol 2012; 19 (2): 4–7.
