espanolHemos estudiado el efecto de la cronicidad y de la asociacion de farmacos con propiedades inductoras sobre las cantidades excretadas de fenobarbital y p-hi droxifenobarbital en orina de ratas. Los resultados obte nidos nos mostraron un aumento significativo en las can tidades excretadas de ambos compuestos en orina de 24 horas, que resulto ser dependiente del grado de induc cion alcanzado. Asimismo, hemos podido comprobar la existencia de una correlacion lineal entre la constante de eliminacion de fenobarbital de suero y la relacion de con centraciones p-hidroxifenobarbital/fenobarbital en orina EnglishWe have evaluated the effect of the chronic administra tion and the coadministration of enzyme inducers on the amounts excreted of both phenobarbital and p-hydroxyphenobarbital in rat urine. The results observed showed a significant increase in the 24h urinary excretion of both compounds, together with a direct dependence of these increases with the grade of induction achieved. In addition, a linear correlation between the elimination rate constant of phenobarbital form serum and the p-hydroxyphenobarbital/phenobarbital ratio in 24-h uri nary excretion was also round.
