Formula and preparation process of 1750 DEG C high-temperature corundum-mullite setter plate

2012
The invention discloses a formula and a preparation process of a 1750 DEG C high-temperature corundum-mullite setter plate. The formula and the preparation process are characterized in that the setter plate comprises, by mass, 28%-35% of electrically melted mullite, 32%-35% of electrically melted corundum, 20%-25% of tabular corundum, 6%-10% of a-Al2O3 micro powder, 4%-8% of kaoline, 0.5%-1% of an activating agent and 0.5%-1% of a binding agent. The setter plate has the advantages that the setter plate can be used for a long term without deformation at a high temperature of 1750 DEG C and at the high pressure; the setter plate has high thermal vibration stability and is free from cracking when being transferred from a high-temperature area to a low-temperature area; the setter plate has sufficient atmospheric temperature strength and high-temperature strength; and the setter plate has long service life when compared with traditional products.
