GC-MS analysis of liposoluble contents from Flos Lonicerae japonicae.

2010
Objective To analyze the chemical constituents of the liposoluble contents from Flos Lonicerae japonicae and to provide scientific foundations on quality evaluation. Methods The liposoluble contents of Flos Lonicerae japonicae were extracted by Soxet extraction and separated with GC capillary column. The relative content of every compound was determined by normalization method and the chemical compositions were evaluated by GC-MS. Results Thirty-nine chromatographic peaks were isolated and twenty-nine compounds were identified, accounting for 94.03% of the total liposoluble contents in Flos Lonicerae japonicae. Conclusion The essential components of Flos Lonicerae japonicae are hydrocarbon compounds and fatty acid, 45.10% of the total liposoluble contents are 13 kinds of hydrocarbon compounds, 43.18% of the total liposoluble contents are 11 kinds of fatty acid. Phytosterol was the secondary composition, accounting for 8.26%.
