Design and application of program-controlled digital multimeter based on GPIB

M2000 digital multimeter(DMM) is program-controlled through the GPIB interface and Standard Command of Programmable Instrument(SCPI).Quick BASIC is adopted in programming.By using the modular-programming concept,the software is divided into five parts,i.e.,system configuration,one-shot measurement,continuous measurement,data processing and storage.At last,the output current stability of semiconductor laser diode(LD) driver is measured as an example,and the test result is that current short-term stability is 30ppm.
