Medium/high-solid hydroxy acrylic resin and preparation method thereof

The invention relates to a medium/high-solid hydroxy acrylic resin which is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 10-30 parts of methyl methacrylate, 5-20 parts of butyl methacrylate, 5-15 parts of butyl acrylate, 5-15 parts of hydroxyethyl methacrylate, 5-20 parts of styrene, 0.5-2.0 parts of methacrylic acid, 2-5 parts of acrylonitrile, 0.5-1.5 parts of di-tert-pentyl peroxide, 20-35 parts of dehydrated petroleum dimethylbenzene and 5-15 parts of butyl acetate. According to the preparation method, the hydroxy acrylic resin is synthesized by using a new polymerization technique. The medium/high-solid hydroxy acrylic resin synthesized by using the new polymerization technique has the advantages of excellent weather resistance, excellent gloss retention, excellent fullness, excellent decorative performance, excellent comprehensive physiochemical properties and excellent compatibility.
