A facile separation of fragments D and E from the fibrinogen-fibrin degradation products of three mammalian species.

Abstract A simple and efficient method of obtaining D and E fragments from the plasmin degradation products of human, canine and bovine fibrinogens and human fibrin is described. The method utilizes QAE-Sephadex for ion-exchange chromatography.
