Amid protests, majorities across racial and ethnic groups express support for the Black Lives Matter movement

Pew Research Center conducted this study to understand Americans’ attitudes about the recent demonstrations following George Floyd’s death and race relations in this country, as well as personal experiences with racial discrimination and activism on issues related to race or racial equality. For this analysis, we surveyed 9,654 U.S. adults on June 4-10, 2020.
