Crystal Structure of a New Chiral Pd(0)/Diphosphine Complex and Its Use in Enantioselective Allylic Alkylations.

Abstract The crystal structure of the new chiral Pd(0) complex ( R,R)- 2 bearing two homochiral diphosphine ligands is reported. Its catalytic activity and enantioselectivity in allylic substitution reactions were investigated and the results compared to those obtained with various in-situ catalyst systems derived from [Pd(allyl)Cl]2 and diphosphine ( R)- 1 .
