Investigation of by-Products of G 3 in Quasi-Uniform Field Under AC Power Discharge

G3 is a promising dielectric gas which consists of C4F7N and CO 2 . It shows great potential to replace SF 6 in electric system due to its low GWP and comparable dielectric strength to SF6. 145kV GIS1 and the 420kV GIL using g3 as insulating gas has been put into use in England.
