The paper presents an analysis of the classification of visual teaching aids, consider the problem of the full range of instructional possibilities of visual aids in developing training and special attention paid to the semantic-symbolic visual aids; identified different types of semantic-symbolic visual aids, and proposed a classification for various reasons.
