Thermochemical study of polymer compounds

Abstract The paper presents the results of a thermochemical study of various classes of high molecular weight compounds. The experimental values of the enthalpies of combustion and the enthalpies of formation of a number of polymers have been obtained. A scheme is proposed for calculating the enthalpies of formation the possibility of using which is illustrated by the compounds studied.
