Solid-Solution Hexagonal Ni0.5Co0.5Se Nanoflakes toward the Boosted Oxygen Evolution Reaction

The oxygen evolution reaction (OER) with sluggish kinetics is a bottleneck for the large-scale application of water electrolysis. Herein, solid-solution hexagonal Ni0.5Co0.5Se nanoflakes are designed and successfully synthesized via a facile hydrothermal method with much lower overpotential of 216 mV at 10 mA cm-2 and Tafel slope of 37.08 mV dec-1.
