Caracterização da Escola Municipal Presidente Castelo Branco, Salvador-BA: subsídios para a educação ambiental na prática pedagógica do ensino fundamental

Buscou caracterizar a pratica educativa da Escola Municipal Presidente Castelo Branco, visando contribuir para a insercao da dimensao socioambiental na pratica pedagogica do ensino fundamental, de acordo com as necessidades e a realidade da instituicao. Foram investigadas as concepcoes da comunidade escolar, a realidade do bairro e as perspectivas pedagogicas que influenciam a pratica do professor, alem de projetos e do plano de desenvolvimento da escola. A analise dos dados obtidos revelou a necessidade de realizacao de cursos de capacitacao, oficinas e palestras envolvendo a comunidade da escola e do bairro para possibilitar a mobilizacao coletiva e a transformacao da situacao atual. Abstract The present work has tried to characterize the educative practice of Presidente Castelo Branco Municipal School, in order to contribute to the insertion of the social and environmental dimension in pedagogical practice of basic education, according to the necessities and the reality of the institution. The conceptions concerning the school community, the district reality and the pedagogical perspectives, which influence the educator's practice, have been investigated; besides, we also studied the school's projects and development plan. The analysis of the obtained data revealed the necessity for organizing qualification courses, workshops and lectures, involving the school community and the neighborhood, in order to make the collective mobilization for transformation of the current situation possible.
