The invention discloses a refining apparatus of 3-amino-1,2-propanediol. The apparatus comprises a crystallization kettle, a first precision filter, a decolorizing kettle, a second precision filter, a finished product distillation kettle, a condenser, a front cut fraction tank, a finished product tank and a roots vacuum system which are sequentially connected through a pipeline; the crystallization kettle is provided with a cold brine outlet, a cold brine inlet and an unqualified 3-amino-1,2-propanediol outlet, unqualified 3-amino-1,2-propanediol is added into the crystallization kettle and is processed for 60-80min, and the obtained material 1 is pumped into the first precision filter; the obtained material 2 enters the decolorizing kettle; and ethanol is added to the decolorizing kettle, the obtained mixture 3 is stirred, activated carbon and, activated white clay are added into the decolorizing kettle, the obtained mixture 4 is continuously stirred, the finally obtained material in the decolorizing kettle is pumped into the second precision filter, and the newly obtained material enters the finished distillation kettle and is distilled to firstly obtain ethanol to be continuously used. A homologous compound 2-amino-1,3-propanediol and polyglycerine precipitate from the above obtained product by adopting a crystallization kettle freezing process, so the content of 2-amino-1,3-propanediol in the finished product is greatly reduced.
