Method of bivalent iron-rich rocks' information extraction and its application in U mineral exploration

Based on aerial hyperspectral CASI data and the spectral characteristics of rocks,an algorithm was proposed for extracting the information of rocks which is rich in Fe2+ in the paper.Then this method was used for obtaining the information for diabase dikes.The field result proved that the precision of this method was very good,as the scale and trend of diabase dikes and other features were very clear.After analyzing the extracted results and the information of Uranium anomalies,it was found that Diabase dikes which is rich in Fe2+ and Uranium anomalies have a strong correlation.By using this method,two diabase structures were found in the southern part of the study area.
