Effects of different ratios of peanut bran fertilizer on yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco.

2010
The present experiment has been conducted to study the effects of different ratios of peanut bran fertilizer on the growth of tobacco plant and flue-cured leaf quality of flue-cured tobacco using different combined application proportion of peanut bran fertilizer and chemical fertilizer. The results revealed that tobacco plants treated with the ratio of 30%-40% peanut bran fertilizer showed higher plant, bigger leaf area, thick stem and more leaves. The content of K,total sugar, nicotine, protein, etc.,tended to coordinate in a range of high-quality in flue-cured tobacco. The ratios of nitrogen/ nicotine and sugar/nicotine were found to be closed to 1 and 8-10,respectively.Schmuck's value was about 2.5 which reached the proportional range of high-quality tobacco. Moreover, its yield, production value and super tobacco rate increased by 21.64% and 32.36%,22.04% and 38.77%,60.52% and 8.93%,respectively,compared to CK1(100% chemical fertilizer treatment) and CK2(conventional fertilizer treatment).
