The invention discloses an S signal injection positioning and patrolling system with a three-phase short circuit injection mode, and belongs to the technical field of distribution line fault patrol. The S signal injection positioning and patrolling system includes a large earth ground line, an S injection signal line, two three-phase short circuit lines, three S signal injection hooking insulating rods, a high voltage clamp meter, an S signal generation and detection device, a high voltage clamp meter insulating rod, and an intelligent palm terminal PDA. The S signal generation and detection device is connected to the S signal injection hooking insulating rods through the S injection signal line. The three S signal injection hooking insulating rods are short circuit through the two three-phase short circuit lines. The three S signal injection hooking insulating rods hang on the high voltage line. The S signal generation and detection device is used for generating and detecting the S signal. The high voltage clamp meter hangs on the high voltage line. According to the invention, the problems that the fault position cannot be fast and accurately positioned when the 10KV line breaks down, the line distribution brings bad effects to the S signal, and long line high resistance ground fault exists are solved.
