Introduction and Selection of New Spray Cut Chrysanthemum Varieties

[Objective]To select fine varieties of spray cut chrysanthemum to promote in Lianyungang area.[Method]39 spray cut chrysanthemum varieties were introduced,and their main characters were tested according to the standard of cut chrysanthemum and DUS test technology for chrysanthemum,and finally a comprehensive evaluating model was contructed.[Result]18 fine varieties scoring more than 2.5 points(including 2.5 points),17 retaining varieties scoring from 2 points to 2.5 points(including 2 points),and 4 varieties scoring less than 2 points were selected.[Conclusion]18 fine varieties were selected for commercial production and seedling breeding in different combinations according to different needs of color and petal types in Lianyungang area.
