Analysis on Manpower Resources Situation of Municipal and County CDCs in Zhejiang Province

Objective To analyze the manpower resources situation of municipal and county CDCs in Zhejiang province,find out the existing problems and provide countermeasures.Methods The stratified random sampling was used and the basic information of CDC such as composing,the number of personnel,personnel structure was investigated.Results The personnel number had increased,but still lower than the average level of the eastern region in China.Additionally,the phenomenon of overstaff number was ubiquity.The average age of personnel was about 40 years.Their educational backgrounds were mainly undergraduate and junior college.And their professional titles were mainly intermediate and junior.All of these did not meet the standards recommended by the Ministry of Health.Conclusion At present,the number of personnel is relative shortage in CDC.Staffs are with a low level of educational background and professional title.The specialization of staff needs to be improved.Therefore,in order to promote the manpower resources of the public health in CDC,talent strategy must be carried out.Meanwhile,more high-quality talents should be introduced.Personnel training and standards of staff assignment also need to be strengthened and established.
