Reliability of HemoCue in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding

Objective HemoCue is routinely used to manage bleeding patients, but few studies have evaluated its accuracy in this population. We compared HemoCue with laboratory determination of blood hemoglobin in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding.
