Gprs antenna and the electronic device

2012
A GPRS antenna comprises a medium substrate and an antenna conductor arranged on the medium substrate. The antenna conductor comprises a first resonance frequency range unit, a second resonance frequency range unit, an antenna ground and a short circuit coupling unit, wherein the first resonance frequency range unit and the second resonance frequency range unit share a feeding point, the short circuit coupling unit is connected to the antenna ground, and the length of the first resonance frequency range unit and the second resonance frequency range unit is respectively approximately one fourth of the wavelength of the corresponding resonance frequency ranges. An innovative design is achieved by making full use of the structural feature of a set top box card insertion part and selecting a suitable antenna type. The inner structure of a conventional electronic device and the like are not modified. The GPRS antenna enables basically the same effects as an external antenna does after being arranged inside by making the antenna arranged inside and selecting an optimum antenna built-in position, coupled with the antenna type selecting design and the low-loss antenna medium substrate. The invention further provides an electronic device applying the GPRS antenna.
