Programa de Habilidades Sociais e de Vida com Adolescentes em Semiliberdade

2021
The literature has highlighted the need for interventions to promote positive interactions and trajectories of life to adolescents in conflict with the law. The study evaluated the effects of a Social and Life Skills Program (SLSP) on the repertoire of social skills, the perception of social support and the self-efficacy beliefs of adolescents in socio-educational measures of semi-freedom. Participated in the intervention seven male adolescents aged between 14 and 17 years. The SLSP was composed of seven meetings and was evaluated before and after the intervention using the instruments: Inventory of Social Skills for Adolescents; Social Support Appraisals; Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale. The data were analyzed using the Jacobson & Truax Method and showed that five adolescents presented an increase in the general social skills score, and the factors that had a positive change were assertiveness and affective approach. It is concluded that the SLSP showed some indicators of effectiveness, and can be considered as an alternative for the socio-emotional development, as well as the emergence of coping strategies to deal with the challenges of new insertions.
