Method and system for implementing voice inter-communication in video monitoring

The invention discloses a method and a system for realizing audio communication in video monitoring, wherein, the method comprises: a monitoring front end and a monitoring terminal are established communication link respectively with a register server which transfers audio communication request signaling between the monitoring front end and the monitoring terminal by the communication link so as to establish an audio communication media link and then transfers audio data packets between the monitoring front end and the monitoring terminal by the audio communication link. The method and the system of the invention are realized based on the existing monitoring equipment without requiring for additional equipment, thus avoiding the increasing of cost and shortening interaction flow, so that time delay in the audio communication is reduced.
