Refractometric study of substituted aminopyrimidine in polar solvent

Measurement of refractive index has done by Abbe’s refractometer for four substituted aminopyrimidine drugs. From the data of refractive index and density, mola r refraction (R m ) and polarizability constant ( α ) are calculated. The values of these parameters and their variations are used to explain interactions taking place in t he solution.
