【投稿論文：Case Report】 亜急性期急性増悪硬膜下血腫に対する五苓散の有用性：4 症例の検討

Acute aggravated subdural hematomas in subacute state are generally treated by surgery only. However, some patients with no or minimum symptoms may be treated conservatively. Recently, the effectiveness of Kampo prescription, goreisan in reduction of chronic subdural hematomas was reported, but there is no report of acute aggravated subdural hematoma cases． We observed rapid reduction in hematomas in 4 patients with symptomatic acute aggravated subdural hematomas who were adminisitered goreisan, 2 of them were treated conservatively and the others were treated surgically. No apparent adverse effect were noted in the present series of patient．The present report suggests that Kampo prescription, goreisan could be considered as a useful medication for rapid reducing acute aggravated subdural hematoma in both conservative treatment case and postoperative case．
