경로탐색에 영향을 미치는 도시 보행환경 분석을 통한 보행성 증진 가능성 탐구

Although it is widely recognized that pedestrian wayfinding significantly affect their walking behavior and experience, research on walking and walkability has yet to sufficiently focus on wayfinding process. The purpose of this study is to identify walking environment information affecting wayfinding and walkability by reviewing relevant literatures. By doing so, this study also investigates the relationship between walkability, wayfinding process, and the environment information affecting wayfinding, and explore a means of enhancing the walkability according to improved easiness of wayfinding. The results of this study can be a basis for the improvement of walkability through analysis and improvement of wayfinding process.
