燃煤型砷中毒病区与非病区人群血清谷胱甘肽-S-转移酶活力的比较

2009
Objective To explore the difference of the activity of glutathione-S-transferase (GST) in the serum between the population in coal-burning type arsenism endemic area and in the control area. Methods Seventy-nine diagnosed arsenism patients were selected as the case group and 61 normal residents were selected as the inner control group in a coal burning-type arsenism endemic area. Eighty-nine normal residents were selected as the outer control group in a control area. The activity of GST in the serum was determined by spectrophotometer. Results Compared with the outer control group [(12.74±4.20)U/ml], the activity of GST in the case group [(14.63±3.59)U/ml] and the inner control group [(14.79±3.17) U/ml] were both significantly higher than that of the outer control group(P<0.01). However, no significant difference was observed between the case group and the inner control group. Conclusion The activity of serum GST of the population in coal-burning type arsenism endemic area was higher than that of the population in none-endemic area. The activity of serum GST may be selected as one of the indicators for the surveillance of susceptible population of coal-burning type arsenism.
