Observation on the topical Therapy by Ketoconazole and Bifonazole Gel for pityrosporum folliculitis

Objective To discuss the clinical observation of the treatment of Pityrosporum folliculitis Method For the 70 definitely pityrosporum folliculitis patients,the Ketoconazole was taken 200mg,once a day,and Bifonazole Gel externally once a day for 4 weeks.Clinical and mycology curative assessment was taken after therapy.Results Clinical curative rate 72.9%,effective rate 94.3,fungus clearance rate 95.7%;3 months after treatment,51 patients follow-up visit,recurring rate 5.9% Conclusion the treatment by Ketoconazole and Bifonazole Gel for pityrosporum folliculitis is safe,effcctive and cheap.Its recurring may be affected by some predisposing factors.
