Management device and control method

A photovoltaic power conditioning system (PV-PCS) (3) outputs power generated by a photovoltaic (PV) panel (2). An electric vehicle power conditioning system (EV-PCS) (5) charges an electric vehicle (EV) (6) with power supplied from a commercial power system (PS) or the power outputted from the PV-PCS (3). The PV-PCS (3) directly or indirectly receives restriction information (13) from a server (12). During a restriction period in which the power to be outputted from the PV-PCS (3) is restricted, a management device (10) obtains a suppressed power generation amount on the basis of a simply estimated power generation amount of the PV panel (2), and controls the PV-PCS (3) so that charging power increases by having the suppressed power generation amount as an upper limit.
