Method for preparing derivatives of baccatin III and 10-deacetylbaccatin III

A process for preparing derivatives of baccatin III and 10-deacetylbaccatin III of general formula I wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or an acetyl radical, by condensing an acid of general formula II with a derivative of baccatin III or 10-deacetylbaccatin III, R1, R2 and R3 representing protective groups of the hydroxy function, followed by replacement of the protective groups by hydrogen.
