Die Reaktion von 2,2′‐Bipyrrol mit Orthoameisensäure‐triethylester

The Reaction of 2,2′-Bipyrrole with Triethyl Orthoformate 2,2′-Bipyrrole (1) and triethyl orthoformate react in the presence of a Lewis acid to the hitherto unknown 1,9-Bis(2-pyrrolyl)pyrromethene (4) which was identified by spectroscopic methods (MS, NMR).
