Nucleon momentum distribution in /sup 16/O using the (. gamma. ,p) reaction

The momentum distribution of p/sub 1///sub 2/ shell nucleons in /sup 16/O is deduced from measurements of the angular distribution of the /sup 16/O(..gamma..,p/sub 0/) reaction cross section between E/sub gamma/=40 and 105 MeV. The results are found to deviate from the Elton-Swift distribution. (AIP)
