Морфолого-анатомическое изучение коры ивы белой (Salix alba L. ), произрастающей в различных регионах Российской Федерации

White willow (Salix alba L.) is a rather widespread plant on the territory of the Russian Federation. Willow bark extract exhibit the manifested anti-inflammatory effect and can be successfully applied for treatment of the locomotive system diseases. Nevertheless, there is no approved pharmacopeial article on the raw material. Comparative morphological and anatomic investigation of the raw materials collected in various Russian regions has been carried out and characteristic diagnostic features have been defined. The data obtained permit to identify white willow bark.
