AUGE Y DECAIMIENTO DE LA ACCION COLECTIVA: UN ANALISIS DESDE LA EXPERIENCIA DE LAS ASAMBLEAS BARRIALES DE LA CIUDAD DE BUENOS AIRES

This article interrogates the alternatives that were presented to the assemblies of Buenos Aires, which were given birth by the argentinian december 2001 facts. It begins with an analitical approach that allows to understand the kind of collective acctions carried on, and then it developes the reasons that drove to assemblies fall. Based on those topics, the relationship between assembleys and official instances are discussed, and therefore the alternative ways that these social movilizated sectors could move on in order to become political actors. Adopting a favorable perspective to the social participation as democratization esencial element, the most powerful statement considers that the situations in the national stage are clearly different from those of subnational stage, especially in Buenos Aires. Therefore, strategies in these levels should be differents.
