2011
The work aimed evaluate the performance of five cultivars of sugarcane consortium with the legume Crotalaria juncea and monoculture in soil of low fertility in the Cerrado, in Dourados, MS. The experiment was installed in October 2008, in settlement Lagoa Grande, in Dourados, MS. The treatments consisted of five cultivars of sugarcane (RB 95-5744, RB 72-454, RB 93-5608, RB 85-5113 and SP 83-2847), intercropped with sunn hemp and not syndicated by setting a factor 5 x 2, with 3 repetitions. The legume was inoculated with bacteria gender Rhizobium. To evaluate the productivity stalk and tips, sugarcane harvest was done manually. In assessing the percentage of brown sugar and income, it was subsampling a 20 kg stalk in each plot. Although not found a significant difference between treatments in relation to the variables: income stalk, tip, sugar and straw production, cultivars RB 93-5744, RB 85-5113 and SP 83-2847 RB consortium with Crotalaria, outstood in this study because they have a greater tendency to gain when compared to production in monoculture.
