Совершенствование методов разведения и применения Micromus angulatus Steph

2011
Effect of different food on viability of Micromus larvae and adults was investigated. Eggs of the grain moth Sitotroga cerealella Oliv. and five aphid species were tested as food sources: the cereal aphids Schizaphis graminum Rond. and Sitobion avena F. the vetch aphid Megoura vicea Buckt., the green peach aphid Myzus persicae Sulz., the bean aphid Aphis fabae Scop. The aphid Sitobion avenae F. is shown to be the most optimum food for mass rearing of Micromus. In this case, viability of Micromus (survival of larvae) and quality of adults (their weight and fecundity) are high. The application of Micromus against aphids in small-volume growing technologies for vegetables and herbs demonstrated high efficiency.
