Ciencia, salud y educación una prioridad (SHE) y un modelo (CNIC)

Pero, ademas, estos accidentes cardiovasculares son tambien globalmente dramaticos no solo por ser la primera causa de muerte en el mundo, sino que, adicionalmente, su frecuencia esta aumentando y el alto coste economico del tratamiento �tecnologico y farmacologico� ya es inaccesible en muchas regiones del mundo. A la luz de lo anterior, hemos creado una fundacion internacional con la finalidad prioritaria de �Ciencia, Salud y Educacion� (SHE). Esta fundacion esta fundamentada en un nuevo modelo espanol de investigacion y financiacion, el �Centro Nacional de Investigacion Cardiovascular� (CNIC). El proyecto investigador se encamina a promover la gestion de la salud y la enfermedad cardiovascular tanto individualmente como entre la poblacion en su conjunto. La financiacion es tanto publica como privada, con exclusion de la industria farmaceutica, evitando asi conflictos de interes. In el ambito cardiovascular, la entidad SHE como concepto prioritary y el CNIC como base o modelo cientificos pueden en general ser aplicables o considerarse pilotos para otras cuestiones relativas a la salud o las enfermedades. However, these cardiovascular events are also globally dramatic not just for being the first cause of death all over the world. In addition, their prevalence is increasing and the high economic cost of treatment �technological and pharmacological� is already inaccessible in many regions of the world. In light of the above, we have established an international foundation under the priority concept �Science, Health and Education� (SHE). This Foundation is based on a new Spanish research and funding model, the �National Cardiovascular Research Center� (CNIC). The research aspect is geared towards promoting cardiovascular health and disease management both individually and among the population. Funding is public and private, excluding the pharmaceutical industry, which thus prevents conflicts of interest. In the cardiovascular setting, the entity SHE as conceptual priority, and the CNIC as scientific basis or model can be pilot or applicable to other health and disease issues in general.
