The polarization propagator based on an agp state: Theory and application to the helium atom

The AGP reference state is shown to support a high-order consistent propagator approximation. An “improved” polarization propagator approximation is then available via the partitioning technique. An application to the two-electron helium atom is given since in this case the AGP reference state is the exact ground state within a given basis set.
