The invention discloses a reverse gear pressing mechanism of a six-speed manual gear shifting device. The reverse gear pressing mechanism comprises an upper gear shifting rod and a lower gear shifting rod, the upper gear shifting rod is assembled in an inner hole in the axial direction of the lower gear shifting rod, and a strip-shaped through hole is formed in the radial direction in the lower gear shifting rod. A friction neck bush made of plastics is arranged in the strip-shaped through hole of the lower gear shifting rod, and a limiting pin is fixedly arranged at the lower end of the upper gear shifting rod. One end of the limiting pin extends out from the friction neck bush on one side of the strip-shaped through hole, and the surface of the limiting pin is in contact with the friction neck bush. Under the premise that the reverse gear pressing mechanism achieves the reverse gear pressing function, the problems of metal friction and clamping can be solved, it is guaranteed that a reverse gear is reliable, and the comfortableness of reverse gear pressing operation is improved.
