Unsaturated organosilicon polymers as preceramic and electrooptic materials

This paper describes the synthesis and study of three different organosilicon polymers. The use of one of the polymers in {open_quote}pressureless sintering{close_quote} and {open_quotes}ceramic welding{close_quote} is discussed. Also discussed is the use of the second polymer as the electroluminescent material in light emitting diodes. The nonlinear optical properties of the third polymer are described.
