Morphological structure of a polymer coating on polymerization-modified fillers☆

Abstract The morphological types of a polymer coating on mineral fillers for the polymerization modes of modification carried out by radical polymerization of vinyl chloride in presence of fillers have been investigated and reviewed. A link has been established between the means of modification, the morphology of the polymer coating, its behaviour on processing and the physicomechanical properties of the film materials based on PVC.
