DSRC를 이용한 경찰의 교통대책 연구

Many countries in the world try to reduce traffic congestion, distribution expenses and traffic accident by intelligent technology. One of these trials is the DSRC traffic system a part of ITS service. The ITS service by using dsrc system is very various, for example traffic congestion relieving, prevention of traffic accident, electronic toll collection, etc. The traffic safety part of dsrc system can provide an epoch-marking traffic service to korea leaving much to be desired to traffic safety. So, in this study I will present dsrc functions, a tendency of the world dsrc research, applications of dsrc system in the part of traffic flow and safety, and I will suggest introduction to korea police of applications of dsrc system by following methods. First, police must plan the scope of the applications police will provide by dsrc system. By this plan, the technical items needed to dsrc system are determined, for examples frequency, a standard concerned with RSU, OBU, etc. Second, police secure frequency using public safety part application in dsrc system, and cooperate TTA to change a standard concerned with RSU, OBU. Third, DSRC services of ITS must be performed “emergency vehicle preemption”, “public transit signal priority”in the first place, and be erformed IEOWS, IECS, and will be extended other dsrc services.
