Collective demagnetization processes in systems of exchange coupled grains

1995
Abstract The dependence on diverse microstructural parameters of the switching fields linked to the structures formed, due to exchange interactions, at the grain boundaries is investigated. Also, we have followed the evolution with the increasing demagnetizing fields of systems formed by many exchanged coupled grains which clearly revealed that the occurrence of collective demagnetization processes plays a major role in the coercivity of this kind of systems.
