Study on Real-time Storage of Dynamic Large-volume Sequence Image

By making a comparison between a single hard disk and the RAID system on storage performance, It is discovered that the RAID system is the better solution to solve real-time storage problem of dynamic large-volume sequence image. The paper points out that SCSI hard disk, not IDE hard disk, is needed in RAID to decrease the usage of CPU by I/O system. At the same time, it is helpful to use more than one SCSI channel in RAID system to get better performance.
