Description of two new species of the genus Xyalaspis Hartig, 1843 (Hymenoptera: Figitidae: Anacharitinae) in the Neotropical region

Two new species of genus Xyalaspis Hartig, 1843, Xyalaspis dominicana Mata-Casanova & Pujade-Villar n. sp. from Dominican Republic and Xyalaspis muzencaba Mata-Casanova & Pujade-Villar n. sp. from Mexico are described. Xyalaspis dominicana Mata-Casanova & Pujade-Villar n. sp. represents the first record of the genus in the Caribbean area. The description and diagnostic charactersof the new species are illustrated and discussed.
