Introduction: General surgical technique of operations on the limbs of paraplegics

Several of the operations to be described here use the classical methods of orthopaedic surgery. Some have been modified in details of technique and a few have been devised by the writer to serve purposes peculiar to the pathological conditions met with in paraplegics.
