The genus Phora Latreille (Diptera: Phoridae) from China.

This paper deals with 7 living species of the genus Phora Latreille, of which Ph. hamulata is described as new to science, Ph. occidentata Malloch, Ph. convergens Schmitz, Ph. holosericea Schmitz and Ph. saigusal Goto are reported for the first time from China, and Ph. capillosa Schmitz is redescribed and illustrated. A key to the Chinese species of Phora is given.
