2017
Advancement of a country is reflected by the advancement of that country in technology. For proper growth in technology, it is necessary to ensure electricity for every people of the country. In Bangladesh, lots of people do not have the access to grid electricity as they live in remote areas. Sajek Valley is one of the remotely located tourist spots of Bangladesh, where grid connection is not available. In last few years, this area has drawn the attraction of many tourists for its scenic beauty. Ensuring electricity at that locality can increase the income of the people of that locality and so it can give pace in the economic growth of the country. In this paper, we have designed a standalone hybrid system for the locality of Sajek Valley considering the load profile for the people of that locality as well as tourists. HOMER software is used to find out an optimal design of the system for the available resources on that locality. Such design can be helpful to serve electricity at the remote location of the country.
